📚🧡 The Gilmer ISD Education Foundation is proud to support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library!

We are especially excited that 136 children under the age of 5 at the Gilmer Early Childhood Center are currently being enrolled — and that number continues to grow!

Putting books into the homes of our youngest Buckeyes means building a love of reading before they ever enter a Gilmer ISD classroom. We are excited about the lasting impact this program will have on literacy across our district for years to come!

We are grateful to Nolan Properties LLC, Credit Union of Texas, Rotary Club of Gilmer, and First National Bank of East Texas for joining in support of this incredible program. We love seeing our community invest in our youngest readers! 🧡📖

We truly appreciate all of our Gilmer ISD employees and everything they do each and every day for our students and community. It was such a pleasure to provide breakfast tacos to every campus including the bus barn and administration office this week as a small token of our gratitude for their hard work and dedication.

A special thank you to Mary’s Authentic Mexican Restaurant for having the tacos hot, fresh, and ready to go every morning this week. We are so thankful for your support in helping us show appreciation to our amazing staff!
