📸 East Texas, we want to see our community through YOUR lens!

At Longview Regional Medical Center, our community is at the heart of everything we do. We’re inviting local photographers and photography enthusiasts to help us bring the beauty, history and spirit of East Texas into our hospital!

From Friday night lights and historic landmarks to scenic landscapes and favorite local spots, we want to showcase the places that make East Texas feel like home.

Selected photographs will be displayed throughout our hospital, including patient rooms, helping bring a familiar piece of home and community to those in our care. 💚

We are SO PROUD of ALL of our Upshur County 4-H Yamboree exhibitors and participants! This is a list of Livestock, Floral Cup, and Public Speaking results that we have as of right now. We will be updating the list as we get information. We will also be adding congratulations to our 4-H'ers who won contests in the Exhibit Building. WAY TO GO, Upshur County 4-H members! 🍀💚🍀

Today, several Upshur county 4-Hers successfully competed in the Yamboree Public Speaking Contest and were awarded the following places:

Senior Grand Champion was Jacklyn Tuttle. She, her brother, Jed, and Debbie Allen, also competed.
Intermediate Reserve

Grand Champion was Emmalyn Fatherree.

Junior Grand Champion was Cathryn Fatheree.
In the Junior Category, Pamina Rosier
got third and Allie Williams placed fourth. Lighthouse Christian Academy

Our 4-H Water Ambassadors traveled to Wood County today to provide free pond water testing and education to landowners and producers 🍀💧

Six Upshur 4-Hers are working this morning at the East Texas Yamboree No Limits Livestock Show. It’s an impactful time as the kids share the world of agriculture and support children with special needs. Pics will be added throughout the morning.

Chloe Shipley was selected to participate in the Texas 4-H Homes for Horses program. She picked up her horse, JJ, this past weekend. They will begin their journey together.

She will compete in the State 4-H Horse Show to put their skills and learning on display! We look forward to where both of you will go. 🍀🏇

Participants spend the year learning about horse behavior, nutrition, management, training, and record keeping while helping a horse become more adoptable and successful in its next chapter.
