Signed & delivered for your hiking pleasure!
In spite of the rain, May proved to be a very productive month on the trails. The awesome GRTT volunteers completed signage and blazing on Cogswell’s East Peak & Blue Line Extension, Lou Lane, Beaver Woods (Corners) and Kulash -Maher Trail in Lower Gilmanton.
Enjoy!

Beaver Woods, Take 2!
Thanks to the GRTT Volunteers for reinstalling the “Trail” & “Parking” signs at the Beaver Woods hiking trail on Rte 140 just east of the 4 Corners.
Last year all 3 signs & posts were stolen less than a week after installation. We hope these will stick around longer.
Both directions of the blue trail are blazed and ready to use. The map is the last “to do” and will be posted at the trail head.
Today we trained our newest GRTT volunteer, Hope Theodora! Thanks for clearing the way for the blazers!

Update on the Joe Urner Trail: GRTT Volunteers went out today and cut & removed the tree that had fallen across the trail. Thanks to the community members who took the time to report the trail conditions.
Happy Trails!

Thank you all for coming out to the deliberative session today in support of keeping the LUCT at its current rate. Warrant article 18 now reflects that change.
It will continue to be split 50/50 between the town general fund and the Conservation Commission.
