Sponsorship Opportunities

The Friends of Fatima 5K committee is happy to announce that we will be holding our 4rd Annual Friends of Fatima 5k and 1k Fun Run on September 21st 2019. Thanks to supporters such as yourself, our 2018 event raised $130,000.00 with over 225 runners/walkers and 50 fundraising teams participating. Our hope is to exceed these numbers in 2019 by reaching our goal of $150,000. As such, we are seeking sponsorships and donations for our 4th annual race in an effort to continue making much needed improvements to camp’s infrastructure ensuring accessibility for all campers.

The $330,000 raised from this event over the past three years has provided us the opportunity to make improvements to critical areas in camp that have not been easily accessible for campers in wheelchairs. With the funds raised we have built 5 new wheelchair accessible cabins that are significantly more spacious and are equipped with 2 wheelchair accessible bathrooms. In addition, we made much needed improvements to our camp infirmary, including a wheelchair accessible ramp, improvements to treatment rooms and updates to the building utilities. Lastly, we put the finishing touches on a paved camp road that will allow campers with ambulatory challenges and in wheelchairs easier access to the waterfront for boating and swimming, one of EC Week’s most popular activities.

EC Week at Camp Fatima is a week-long camp for children and adults ages 9+ with intellectual and/or physical challenges. Each camper receives one-to-one care, and experiences a week of horseback riding, swimming, boating, arts and crafts, and many more activities that they otherwise may not be able to enjoy. The 300+ dedicated volunteers and many generous donors allow EC Week to offer this great week to over 170 campers at no cost to campers’ families and caregivers.
