Gillette professionals who work with children and families:

Wyoming Unity Solutions has expanded our team and we are currently accepting referrals for upcoming High-Fidelity Wraparound openings.

If you're working with a family who needs additional coordination between home, school, behavioral health providers, community services or other systems, we would be happy to talk with you about whether Wraparound may be appropriate.

We also believe strongly in family choice.

A referral or conversation with us does not obligate a family to receive services through Wyoming Unity Solutions. Our job is to help families understand their options and make an informed choice.

Wyoming Unity Solutions is GROWING! 🌿

We are currently accepting new referrals and helping families get started with the eligibility and enrollment process.

High-Fidelity Wraparound may be helpful when a family is trying to navigate multiple needs at once, including behavioral health, school concerns, family stress, community services, DFS or juvenile justice involvement, or simply feeling like everyone involved with their child is working separately instead of together.

Our goal is simple: bring the right people together, listen to the family, identify what is actually needed, and build a plan that makes sense for that family.

Families can reach out directly. Referrals can also come from schools, therapists, medical providers, DFS, probation and other community supports.

If you're not sure whether Wraparound is appropriate, reach out. We can help you understand the process without any obligation to choose our agency.

Hi, my name is Whitney Peterson. Before I became a certified peer specialist and wraparound provider, life taught me many lessons showing that it simply does not come with an instruction manual. I chose this field because I know what it feels like to navigate overwhelming systems and I believe no family should have to do it alone. Everyone needs and deserves support, advocacy, and someone to help bridge the gap in the unknown. I bring my whole, authentic self to this work—including my patience, my sense of humor, and my deep belief that every family already possesses the strengths they need to thrive.

My approach is grounded in real-world empathy, loyalty, confidentiality, honesty, and offering hope when times may seem troubling. When we work together, you will not get a strict clinical checklist. Instead, you will get a dedicated partner who will listen without judgment, celebrate your small victories, and stand by your side during tough moments. I am passionate about creating a safe space where parents feel heard and youth know they are both heard and seen.

Outside of Work
When I am not collaborating with care teams, you can usually find me hanging out with my two sons, attending faith-based events, or adventuring outdoors. I have a deep love for hiking, camping, and finding new, fun, and exciting things to do. I believe that taking care of our own well-being allows us to show up fully for others, and I will bring that same balance into my work with your family.

We are excited to officially welcome Mariana Barajas to Wyoming Unity Solutions as an in-network Family Care Coordinator!

If you've spent any time in our community, chances are you've already crossed paths with Mariana. She wears many hats and serves youth and families in countless ways. Whether she's providing overnight support, working as a paraprofessional, advocating for youth, or simply showing up when someone needs encouragement, Mariana consistently leads with compassion, patience, and a genuine heart for helping others.

As a bilingual provider, Mariana helps bridge gaps for Spanish-speaking families and ensures that more youth and caregivers have access to services in a way that feels comfortable, understood, and supported.

We are proud to have her as part of Wyoming Unity Solutions and look forward to the impact she will continue to make in the lives of Wyoming families.

As we celebrate with families who have worked diligently, come together with love and compassion, we've shared in their significant milestones and supported them through times of hardship, and the immense sense of pride is indescribable. Their journey was not without its challenges, but they chose to persevere through the difficulties. Transitions can also be uncomfortable, but they've effectively taken ownership of our role. This.
