Supernatural Expectation
Do you get the feeling that things are not working like they used to? Our need to hear from God is greater than ever. I asked God for a key that would unlock a kingdom answer. I then went to a scripture I have known for a long time:
"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatever
you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven,
and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven."
Matt: 16:19
Notice that it says, "I will give you the keys…" I then received a key on how to unlock and an answer to overcoming fear that is so prevalent in today's world. The enemy is working overtime to make us fearful. Our fear draws the enemy like a magnet. Our faith draws God even more so. God then said that supernatural expectation will overcome the expectation that fear produces. Supernatural expectation comes by believing God more than believing the enemy. We can believe God more because He tells us that we can.
"You are from God, little children, and have overcome them, because
He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."
1 John 4:4
Fear drives expectation. When we hear the bad report, fear floods in. We then expect something bad to happen. Supernatural expectation will overcome the expectation that fear produces because it is driven by truth. In John 8:32, we know that God's truth will make us free. When we see it in the supernatural, our expectation will place it in the natural. The truth of God's Word produces faith that drives supernatural expectation. We can have this kind of expectation because the Word of God, who is Jesus, exists and lives today. Supernatural expectation knows what exists in the kingdom so that it can be fulfilled on earth. This is kingdom reality.
Ask the Holy Spirit to give you supernatural expectations! When you receive it, you will live as an overcomer, and fear will no longer move you.
