Family Fun Day 2026

This year marked the 7th annual WSG Family Fun Day, and what an incredible day it was!

Family Fun Day is one of our most special events because it gives us the opportunity to give back to our local sponsors and community. With activities, educational booths, lunch, prizes, and opportunities for kids to try new things they may not otherwise get the chance to experience—all completely FREE!

We had around 300 people join us this year, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make the day possible!

It is truly amazing to see so many people and organizations come together to support our mission. Because of you, hundreds of local youth had the opportunity to learn, try something new, and make memories with their families.

The Wyoming Sportsmen’s Group has started a new Meat Initiative Program, and we couldn’t be more excited about the impact it is already making in our community!

WSG purchased a beef and a swine, covered the processing costs, and donated all of the meat to the Council of Community Service Food Pantry. ❤️

We are always looking for ways to support more than just conservation and youth—we want to find ways to give back to the people and communities who support us.

This program is one more way we can support Wyoming through the people who support WSG. What an incredible blessing!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supports the Wyoming Sportsmen’s Group. Because of you, families in our community will have quality meat on their tables.

Our food pantry just received nearly 900 pounds of locally processed meat thanks to an incredibly generous donation from the Wyoming Sportsman’s Group.

For families working to stretch a limited grocery budget, meat can be one of the hardest items to afford. This donation of one cow and one pig will help us provide local households with nutritious, filling food that may otherwise be out of reach.

We are incredibly grateful to the Wyoming Sportsman’s Group for recognizing a need in our community and stepping up to help meet it. ❤️

🎒 Sheridan Hunter Education Class! 🦌

Did you know our Backpack Program is one of our longest-running programs?

Through this program, we recognize students who go above and beyond in their Hunter Education course by donating a backpack to every student who earns a 94% or higher on their Hunter Safety Test.

We love seeing these young hunters take their education seriously, learn the importance of hunting safety, and prepare for a lifetime of responsible outdoor adventures.

Yesterday, Wyoming Sportsman's Group board members joined the Wyoming Game and Fish Department for a walleye stocking event at Keyhole State Park. 🎣

At WSG, we take pride in ensuring that funds raised stay right here in Northeast Wyoming, supporting projects that enhance outdoor recreation, conservation, and opportunities for future generations. The list of projects we are able to support continues to grow every week, and that's only possible because of the incredible support from our members, sponsors, volunteers, and community.

The Wyoming Sportsman’s Group Commissioner Tag Auction is now OPEN!

This is your chance to bid on a highly sought-after Wyoming Commissioner License and choose the region or hunt area for your hunt. Proceeds from the auction help fund conservation projects, outdoor education, and sportsmanship initiatives across Northeast Wyoming.

Exciting progress on the Bowhunters of Wyoming Guzzler Project!

Site preparation for our first guzzler installation has been completed thanks to the hard work of our new Secretary, Joel Hoenk. With the prep work finished, the first two guzzler tanks are scheduled to be installed later this week in Campbell County and Johnson County.

This project is being made possible through partnerships with the Wyoming Sportsman's Group, Wyoming Wildlife Federation, Devon Energy, and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). We greatly appreciate their support and commitment to improving wildlife habitat across Wyoming.

These guzzlers represent an important investment in wildlife conservation and water availability, providing long-term benefits for Wyoming's wildlife and the landscapes they depend on.

If you're interested in helping with the installations on Friday, we'd love to have you join us. Volunteers will be assisting with tasks such as installing the liner, assembling tank components, fencing, and other general construction activities.
