The Friends of the Long Hill Public Library is a community volunteer organization dedicated to the active promotion, welfare and support of the Long Hill Public Library. The purpose is to build and maintain an association of persons interested in the library, its services, facilities and needs; to develop supplemental funding and to assist in promoting the use and enjoyment of the library by the community. The Friends of the Library also aim to organize trips to places of cultural interest and fund special library improvements, cultural events, and book collections. The group will also encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests for the benefit of the Library. We also support the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association Bill of Rights.
