Thanks to your incredible support at the TLP BBQ, our pantry is now well stocked!
While we're thrilled to see it so full, we want to remind everyone that we accept donations year-round. Our pantry experiences ups and downs throughout the year, and our youth often rely on it to supplement their grocery budgets.
Our July food drive is continuing through the end of the month. Food can be dropped off at the YES House or at Brooks Street Inn, next to Quality Auto.

Thank you to everyone who joined the Move and Give Back Mat class on Saturday. With Felicia Jane Pilates and your support, the YES House Foundation raised $200!

We still have a long way to go to reach our goal of 250 bags of food by the end of the month - so far we've just gotten 10! Every little bit helps. Next time you're at the grocery store, consider spending just an extra $5 on items like tuna, mac and cheese cups, milk, or eggs.

Your support means the world to us and makes a big difference in our community. Don't forget to join us at our community barbecue on July 23 from 4-7 PM at the Brooks Street Inn.

At the Transitional Living Program, we believe in equipping our youth with the skills they need for a successful and independent future. That's why we host a cooking group twice a month, where we teach basic cooking skills and simple recipes.

Our sessions cover a range of dishes, from easy-to-make meals to fun and fancy items like easy cheesecake. We aim to make it interesting and relevant for our teenagers and young adults, helping them gain confidence in the kitchen and learn valuable life skills.

By providing these cooking classes, we hope to empower our youth experiencing homelessness to become self-sufficient and enjoy the process of preparing their own meals.

Additionally, during the month of July, we are running a food drive to collect 250 bags of food donations. These donations will supplement our youth's food supply with easy-to-make, quick meals that don't require a lot of prep work. Your support is greatly appreciated!

This July, we're aiming to collect 250 bags of food donations to support our free pantry, which serves clients aged 18-24. We need your help to make this happen!

We're specifically asking for donations of food that teenagers can prepare quickly and easily without much prep work. While we have plenty of corn and beans, we need more variety. Think of items like:
- instant noodles
- canned soups
- ready-to-eat meals
- peanut butter and jelly
- snack bars
- single-serving microwave meals

Please remember that boxed meals like macaroni and cheese often need additional ingredients like milk and butter, so consider donating those as well.

We appreciate the support of our awesome community and hope to see you at our barbecue at the Brooks Street Inn on July 23 between 4 and 7 PM for free food and tours.
