Shayla Bee's Canoe Float

While we were hoping to be able to post details on the 2024 canoe float, unfortunately, for safety reasons we are going to have to cancel this year. The flood has really done a number on the river, the boat ramp road is badly washed out and the pasture where we get off the river is in rough shape as well.

DNR has been testing the river and while it may be safe to float on they are not recommending anyone get in the river due to high levels of bacteria and ecoli.

As you know the Shayla Bee office was also affected by the flood and in need of repairs. If you want to support this year's cause, feel free to send a donation to Shayla Bee for flood relief!

Next year...come hell or high water, we will float!

As you all know, our area has been hit with devastating floods these past few days and it's far from over. We ask everyone to reach out and check on your neighbors, time to come together and push through. The canoe float has been postponed. At this time we do not want to set a reschedule date, there's just too much we need to focus on to get so many back on their feet. Including our Shayla Bee headquarters. Be safe and God Bless!

Housekeeping items:
1.There's limited space at Dead horse Canyon. Drop off canoe, register and then move your vehicle.
2. Please take your trash with you
3. When parking at Crones pasture stay outta the corn!!
4. Meal will be at Crones pasture when you're done floating
