Meet Stubby—18 months old, 66 lbs of handsome, goofy, oversized love 😍
This Retriever mix is the full package: neutered, up to date on vaccines, and already obedience trained (yes, he’s a smart boy!). He knows sit, down, wait, stay, heel, and come—and if treats are involved? He’s basically a straight-A student 🎓🍪
✨ Stubby’s personality:
• Big teddy bear energy 🧸
• LOVES his people (expect a full welcome-home celebration—zoomies included!)
• Obsessed with fetch, running, and chasing squirrels (he’s so close every time 😄)
• Snow = his absolute favorite thing ever ❄️
He’s had some fun field trips and even a furlough with Sweeties Foster, where he did well playing. He loves playing with other dogs but is definitely the Alpha. He also may truly thrive as the only dog where he can soak up all the attention 💛
Stubby can be a little nervous and does best in a calm, predictable home. High-pitched noises and sudden movements can startle him, so he’s looking for a home with teens or adults who understand his sensitive side. No small kids~they make him nervous!
Stubby is currently in training classes learning to be a better boy and great houseguest!

• Active lifestyle (he’s got energy to burn!)
• Fenced yard for zoomies
• Possibly as the only dog
• Lots of love, patience, and belly rubs
Oh—and did we mention he’s a power chewer? Stock up on durable toys 😅
At the end of the day, Stubby just wants to be near his people, snuggled up on the couch after a day of fun. He’s loyal, loving, and ready to be someone’s best friend.
