We are "PHARMACISTS 4 HUMANITY™", a community-based organization whose initiative is primed to serve two pressing issues faced in society today. First, we are concerned that the gener

al public has limited access to pharmacists medication counseling, based on time and economic constraints. And second, we realize the growing problem of unused, unwanted and/or expired prescription meds accumulating in our communities' medicine cabinets. We'd like to bridge these two disparities by offering our expertise via pay for service, donations, contributions and support. To remedy this widening gap, we're acting on what is already known and experienced at the communal level. Since caring for our community and environment is extremely important where both are needed to support our existence, we offer our education and many years of experience as pharmacists. We wish to bring to society's attention as to how the improper use, along with the inappropriate disposal of prescription drug medications is harming us all; plant, animal and mammalian species alike. This exemplifies numerous alarming public health and environmental effects yet to be seen as consequential proof of our actions and perhaps more importantly, non-action! Because improper medication usage can lead to adherence dilemmas and many missed therapeutic outcomes, during our visit, we step into being community Q&A service surrogates. This could include providing basic medication education, drug-pill identification and even pill box setups. Then as our visit wraps up, we offer removal of any remanding unused, unwanted and expired medications while serving our environment by safe guarding appropriate prescription drug/medication disposal practices. We are environmental healthcare Activists who operate 'P4H' not only for the purpose of outreach & education but also to engage society to Act in 'their own stead' to cultivate a higher culture on this sphere.
