MEET COSSETTE: Before her life with us began, Cossette’s world was filled with pain, neglect, and silence. Found alone and very ill at the county shelter, this frail 4-year-old French Bulldog was battling more suffering than any living soul should ever endure. Severe emaciation, painful skin and ear infections, intestinal parasites, and severe cherry eyes left her exhausted and hurting, waiting in the dark for a kindness that felt like it might never come.

Everything changed the day Carrie On Rescue pulled her into safety. Thanks to an incredible medical grant from PACC911, Cossette received the urgent, top-tier veterinary care she so desperately needed. Wrapped in the warmth and comfort of a loving foster home, her true spirit began to bloom. Today, she has gained 5 crucial pounds (weighing 20 pounds) and is thriving—fully restored, healthy, spayed, microchipped, licensed, up-to-date on all vaccines (including rabies), and completely healed.

Despite the deep scars of her past, Cossette harbors zero bitterness. She has emerged as an absolute dream dog—the most gentle, quiet, and loving soul you could ever meet. She greets every single person with pure affection and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Housetrained, crate-trained, and endlessly sweet, Cossette simply wants to be near you and share the devotion she held onto through her darkest days.

Cossette has done her part; now she is ready for her forever home.

Meet Swansea, a gorgeous 31-pound Dalmatian mix with the heart of an angel and a bright, happy-go-lucky spirit that lights up every room she walks into. At just 1 to 2 years old, this beautiful girl has overcome a rough start; she was rescued from a local shelter while sick with Valley Fever, but thanks to wonderful vet care and her loving Carrie On Rescue foster home, she is thriving!

Swansea is sweet, gentle, extraordinarily loving, and very well-mannered. She rides along great in the car, is already house-trained in her foster home, and brings a playful, energetic joy to everything she does. You would never know she faced a health battle; she shows zero symptoms and is feeling fantastic!

Her full medical check includes comprehensive blood work and f***l tests, and she is current on all vaccines, microchipped, spayed, and licensed. Because she is still receiving treatment for Valley Fever, she will need a family willing to continue her daily medication at this time until she is fully cleared. Valley fever is not contagious, but it takes time and continuous medication to resolve.

Swansea's Dream Home:
Property Type: Single-family home with a safely fenced yard (no apartments, condos, or trailers).

Location:
Arizona adopters only.

Lifestyle:
A home ready for a sweet, playful companion who loves both active adventures and cozy cuddle time.

Adoption Details:
Adoption Fee: $400 (helps offset her comprehensive medical care and treatment).

BONNIE — FROM “BROKEN” TO BEAUTIFUL, AND STILL WAITING FOR HER HERO

There are some dogs who come into rescue and break your heart… and then there is Bonnie. She was named in honor of the late Bonnie Tyler, and somehow, the name couldn't be more perfect. Because this little girl has already shown the strength of a survivor—and now, just like the words from Bonnie Tyler’s Holding Out for a Hero…“I need a hero.”

At just 3 years old, this darling Shih Tzu mix arrived from the shelter in heartbreaking condition. She was a little mess—severely matted, suffering from an ear infection and parasites, with glazed-looking eyes and wobbly legs. But underneath all of that was the sweetest little soul.

Bonnie never stopped being loving. She never stopped trusting. She never stopped hoping.

Bonnie received the very best veterinary care, including a complete exam, bloodwork and f***l testing. She was diagnosed with KCS (chronic dry eye) and will need daily eye drops to keep her eyes comfortable and healthy. Her eye medication costs approximately $1 a day—a tiny investment in keeping those precious eyes bright and happy.

She is spayed, vaccinated, licensed and microchipped. She will need professional grooming every 8–10 weeks to keep her beautiful coat healthy and comfortable.

But Bonnie’s greatest transformation isn't what you can see on the outside. It’s the happy little dog she has revealed herself to be.
🌸 Happy-go-lucky
🌸 Calm and gentle
🌸 Loves everyone she meets
🌸 Good with other small dogs
🌸 House trained
🌸 Ready to be someone’s beloved companion
Bonnie has been through so much.
She needs a family.
A safe home.
A soft bed.
Someone who will give her those daily eye drops without ever making her feel like a burden.
Someone who will keep her beautifully groomed.
Someone who will look into those eyes and promise:
“You are home. You are safe. You are loved. Forever.”

Bonnie is an indoor dog and must have a safely fenced yard where she can enjoy time outside with her family.

Maybe her hero isn't coming on a white horse.
Maybe her hero is YOU.

Meet Magenta – The Little Survivor with the Biggest Heart

Some dogs capture your heart the moment you meet them, and sweet Magenta is one of them.

This beautiful, one-year-old Chihuahua mix weighs just 8 pounds and has overcome more than any dog should. After being taken to a shelter with a fractured pelvis, Magenta was rescued by Carrie On Rescue, received complete veterinary care, and was lovingly nursed back to health in a foster home. Today, she is fully healed and ready to find the forever family she's always deserved.

Magenta is a gentle, calm, and quiet little girl. She can be shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality begins to shine. She simply needs a patient family willing to let her blossom at her own pace.

Her greatest joy is other small dogs. They give her confidence, comfort, and happiness, so Magenta must have a small dog companion in her forever home. She truly thrives with a canine best friend by her side.

She also must have a home with a securely fenced yard, where she can safely explore, play, and continue gaining confidence in a secure environment.

Magenta is spayed, licensed, microchipped, current on her vaccinations, and her blood work and f***l tests are all negative. She's healthy, happy, and ready to begin the next chapter of her life.

If you're looking for a loyal little companion and understand that the most precious hearts sometimes need a little extra time to trust, Magenta will reward your patience with a lifetime of love.

Meet Meredith – A Gentle Heart Waiting to Trust Again 💕

Meredith is a beautiful 2-year-old Chihuahua who was rescued from the county shelter and given a second chance at life. Meredith has a tender soul and deserves a family who will cherish her forever.

Life has taught Meredith to be cautious. She is very shy when meeting new people and needs patience, understanding, and time to feel safe. But for those willing to move at her pace, Meredith quietly reveals the sweetest, most loving personality. She is gentle, quiet, and content to simply be near the people she trusts.

Meredith is house trained and does wonderfully with other small dogs. She would thrive in a calm household with a securely fenced backyard where she can safely explore and enjoy the sunshine. Because of her sensitive nature, we recommend a home with older, respectful children who understand that trust is earned, not rushed.

This lovely girl is spayed, fully vet checked, current on vaccines, licensed, and microchipped. All she needs now is a family willing to open their hearts and give her the time she needs to blossom.

Some dogs ask for attention the moment you meet them. Meredith asks for something different — a chance. A chance to learn that she is safe, loved, and finally home. The reward for your patience will be a loyal companion whose quiet devotion is worth every moment of the journey.
