Carrie On Rescue Our mission is to reduce euthanasia of homeless dogs and cats at shelters through rescue and quality adoptions. Carrie On Rescue was founded in 2013.

We are a no-kill pet rescue organization based in Gilbert, AZ. We are all volunteers with no paid employees who dedicate our free time to help save as many animals from death row at the local shelters in the Phoenix area as we can.

Meet Switch, also lovingly known as Eiseley—a graceful, long-legged beauty with a heart just as lovely as her looks. At just one year old and around 15 pounds, this Min Pin/Jack Russell mix brings the perfect blend of playful puppy energy and gentle sweetness.

Switch may be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a bit of time and you’ll quickly see her affectionate, loving personality shine through. Once she feels safe, she blossoms into a happy, playful companion who enjoys being close to her people and soaking up attention. She’s the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart.

She is crate trained, well-mannered indoors, and does wonderfully with other small dogs. Switch would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can stretch her long legs, run, and play with her family. Because she bonds deeply, she’s looking for a patient and loving home where someone is around often to help her continue building confidence and feel secure.

MEET NICK — your new best friend with a heart as big as his fluffy coat.

At just 11 pounds, Nick is the perfect little companion: a charming Pomeranian–long-haired Chihuahua mix, about 1–2 years old, and already full of love to give. Rescued from the county shelter, Nick has left his past behind and is ready to start his next chapter — one filled with comfort, companionship, and a forever family.

Like his namesake, Nick is loyal, observant, and quietly wonderful. He may be a bit shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and you’ll see his true personality shine. Once he warms up, he becomes an affectionate, gentle soul who just wants to be close to his people. His sweet nature makes him an easy dog to love — and an even easier one to keep.

EMILY is a 2-year-old female Chi/Dachshund mix with a gentle heart and the sweetest little face you’ve ever seen. This adorable girl was rescued from the county shelter and is now safe and thriving in a loving foster home through Carrie On Rescue, where her personality has truly begun to shine.

Emily is a sweet, gentle soul who enjoys the quiet comforts of home. She does wonderfully with the other small dogs in her foster home and would likely enjoy a calm canine companion. While she can be a little shy when first meeting men, she warms up with patience and kindness and soon shows her affectionate side.

Emily has received a full veterinary check and is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and licensed.

This post should start with a warning: Cuteness Overload!
Meet mama Shauna and her five beautiful puppies, 2 boys and 3 girls, all available for adoption.

The puppies were very young when the county shelter put out a plea for them and Shauna, as she was emaciated and not doing well in the shelter environment.

The shelter had Shauna listed as a Kelpie mix. We don't know what breed the dad is. Shauna weighs about 45 pounds.

Prepare to have your heart stolen by our precious Sundance Kid! This beautiful, gentle, 5-month-old petite Shepherd mix girl is truly a ray of sunshine, embodying pure happiness and boundless love. She’s a sweet soul who has already overcome a big hurdle and is now ready to find the calm, loving home she deserves.

💖 A Heart Full of Love
Sundance was a special shelter rescue. Our dedicated veterinary team diagnosed her with Subaortic Valve Stenosis (SAS), a manageable heart condition. While her life expectancy is estimated to be shorter than normal, she has many good years ahead of her receiving proper vet care. Every moment with her will be filled with joy.

Treatment is simple and affordable: She requires oral medication that costs approximately $10 per month.

Routine follow-ups: She will need a vet check every 6 months to monitor her health.

She is ready! Sundance is spayed and has undergone extensive pre-adoption vetting, including comprehensive blood work and an echocardiogram.
