Ways to help… be a PACE in a young ones life.

PACE = Protective and Compensatory Experiences, are positive experiences that can build resilience and counteract those negative impacts. PACEs, such as supportive relationships and creative outlets, act as buffers against the long-term consequences of ACEs and promote healthy development.

ABC15 is launching 'DCS: State of Failure' because too often, and for far too long, Arizona has failed to protect vulnerable children from abuse, neglect, and danger.

This year’s World Day Against Trafficking in Persons theme, “Human trafficking is Organized Crime – End the Exploitation”, emphasizes the crucial role of the criminal justice system in dismantling human trafficking networks while prioritizing survivors. Spotlight’s technology is designed to do exactly that: help responders identify victims sooner, build stronger cases, and ensure justice doesn’t come at the expense of survivor dignity.

July 30 is WORLD DAY AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING!

What will you do to stop Human Trafficking?

—— ACTION ITEMS on HOW TO HELP STOP HUMAN TRAFFICKING ——

We can all do something to help put an END to this heinous crime:

ACTION # 1.
Join a Human Trafficking Awareness Coalition, each state should have one. Become informed.

ACTION #2 :
Know and share the 1-888-373-7888 HELPLINE/ HOTLINE.
- Pass it out when you travel at rest stops, bathrooms in planes and airports, toll booth workers, bars, etc. You can download and print Human Trafficking hotline cards for when you travel:

ACTION #3
- Ask area schools to provide (often state mandated) training to teachers, nurses, counselors and even bus drivers re: signs of child exploitation.

- ALL SCHOOLS should be training their teachers, counselors, staff, and even bus drivers on how to identify and respond to child trafficking!

ACTION #4:
Share missing persons posters to your community and social media groups to keep an eye out. Please check to make sure the person is still missing before sharing and make sure vital information like the full name & contact information is provided.

How amazing is this?! The new Interact club “Quito Menor RAGAS “ in Quito, Ecuador 🇪🇨 is the 1st in the world with the main purpose to address modern slavery/human trafficking!

Thanks to the Tomas Moro School for allowing us to imagine changing lives with the reactivation of interact.
