Special AZWE 14U News: we are proud to recognize our 8th grade players who will now be moving up to the next level of athletic competition and academic challenges. We are proud to announce that our players will now be attending several of the various top East Valley high schools and competing in football and other various sports, including Hamilton, Highland, Gilbert, Chandler, Campo Verde, Mesquite, Valley Christian, & Higley.
Special recognition goes out to the following 8th grade AZWE players:
* Brody Bybee - Chandler HS (WR/DB)
* Jacob Brooks - Valley Christian HS (QB/S)
* Robert Coleman - Mesquite HS (WR/CB)
* Vince York - Higley HS (WR/CB)
* Drew Goodman - Gilbert HS (WR/DB)
* Kyle Wright - Highland HS (WR/S)
* Conner Calloway - Campo Verde HS (RB/LB)
* Jacob Vaita - Hamilton HS (WR/DB)
* Brason Campeau - Higley HS (WR/CB)
It has been an honor & pleasure to coach these players over the last several years in tackle, flag, and 7on7 football. This is a great group of players and we appreciate how hard they worked, the passion & effort they played with, and for allowing us to help them get better. My prayer and hope is that you learned a few key things during your time at AZWE that will help you in your future athletic endeavors and in life:
1.) Our formula: PREPARATION + EFFORT = SUCCESS
2.) Hard work is the price of admission if you want to be great.
3.) Don't be afraid to push & challenge yourself beyond what you think you can do...that is when growth, development, and improvement occurs.
4.) Be self-less & reliable....team comes first....not you.
5.) 4C's of AZWE Unity: Character, Commitment, Courage, and Crazy.
6.) If you ever need me, I will be there for you.
We look forward to watching you grow and develop in high school and we expect to be hearing great things about each one of you regardless of the path you choose.
