Primary objective flawlessly achieved by Team Tyson/Pierce with a 5 fish limit resulting in the heaviest bag. Remaining teams engaged but fell short of target payload. Recommend increased scouting and ex*****on for next operation. Best part of the entire OP was the camaraderie afterwards and the BBQ provided by some fine Americans who stand in the gap for our Service Members and just so happen to be the parents of one of our very own. This is America.

What a way to kick off the season for The Armed Forces Fishing League-South Carolina!

Today we hit the waters of Lake Murray for our first tournament of the year — 13 boats, tight competition, and a total payout of $1,300!

🥇 1st Place – $745
Eric Bove & Jay Hamby absolutely crushed it with a tournament-winning bag weighing 19.97 lbs! That’s how you set the tone for the season!

🥈 2nd Place – $360
Carl Horn & Bob Cranny brought a strong sack to the scales at 16.56 lbs, locking down second place.

🥉 3rd Place – $195
Ol’ Lonnie D & Frankie G got into a mess of ’em and their best 5 tipped the scales at 13.92 lbs, securing third!

🐟 Big Fish – $260
Big Fish went to the guys who didn’t think it would hold with a 4.67 lb STUD! Hey T&T, I got your $260 Big Fish earnings!

A massive thank you to Chad Warren, local owner and operator of Warrens Landscape Services, who came in clutch with a Blackstone grill, Bubba Burgers, and ice-cold drinks for everyone at weigh-in. We love Chad — thank you, Brother!

Remember, only one member of the team has to be Veteran (any status other than dishonorable discharge), Law Enforcement, EMS, Firefighters or other DOD Contractor. And for safe measure and accountability purposes, ensure you have proof of service.

I have deferred making this announcement for as long as possible.

After careful consideration I have come to the realization that it is in the best interest to take a year off. Therefore, we will not be hosting the Guardian Classic this year.

I extend my sincerest apologies to all who eagerly anticipate the tournament annually. I love you all and I appreciate your understanding.

With a heavy heart, we announce that For His Glory Outdoors will take a tactical pause by the end of this year. We thank you for your trust, support and loyalty over the past three years. It has been an incredible journey, and we love each and every one of you. Simply explained, I want to take this time to focus on my family and God. Nothing more, nothing less. Thank you for your support and understanding. See you soon.

🚨 We will be executing Emergency Resupply Operations again throughout the night tonight. Those that have contacted us, keep us informed of your status 🚨

The Generators we are purchasing for our brothers and their families cost $800 a piece, that’s not including the 6 hr round trip cost in fuel, the fuel and gas cans we are providing, the needed oil for the generators or the water resupply either.

If you are in a place to sow a seed to our organization to help us be a blessing to others, please do so. We are a very small organization doing more than most of the “big” organizations.
