Traffic alert: State Department of Transportation workers will be repairing asphalt on the Purdy Bridge’s east approach Wednesday that could cause delays of up to half an hour in each direction. Highway 302 will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for the unforeseen work. About 24,000 vehicles cross the 60-year-old bridge each day. Googlemaps photo.
