*Do you know someone RARE?...Someone with a rare disease that is...*
Chances are if you are seeing this post, YOU DO!!!
TOMORROW, FEB 28th is "RARE DISEASE DAY" and your
chance to show your support by doing something so simple: WEAR JEANS...or jeggings or any denim that you may own!
ALSO...I challenge ALL OF YOU who love and support Jordyn to change your profile picture...She is your "someone rare". (click on one of the pics below)
Each one...reach one...Awareness is key. You do not have to know much about FOP to share this pic - but if someone asks you what this pic means to you, you can share this with them...
"I chose to change my profile picture today to support my someone rare...she is 1 in 2 MILLION...Her name is Jordyn and she has been diagnosed with a rare genetic disease called Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva or FOP."
FOP is one of the rarest, most disabling genetic conditions known to medicine, it causes bone to form in muscles, tendons, ligaments and other connective tissues. It progressively restricts movement and forms a second skeleton that imprisons the body in bone. There are no other known examples in medicine of one normal organ system turning into another. About 800 confirmed cases in the world - 285 in the US.

*WHOO-HOO!!! --- YOU DID IT!!!* By this time tomorrow Jordyn will be cruising around in HER NEW WHEEL CHAIR!!!

With in a few short days we not only REACHED OUR GOAL - WE EXCEEDED IT!!! This mama could not be more grateful. Your continued generosity, love and support has been nothing short of AMAZING and I am incredibly blessed to have EACH ONE OF you in our lives. We COULD NOT "do this life" with out ALL OF YOU!!!

Thank you for donating - sharing - supporting Jordyn through this time...We have just TWO FULL DAYS LEFT!!! WE CAN DO THIS!!! This WHEEL CHAIR is going to CHANGE HER LIFE!!! Once we can secure a handicapped accessible vehicle for her, SHE WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE!!! Sky is the limit and it STARTS HERE... Would you be willing to help? **SHARE THE LOVE CHALLENGE** --- We are now just $2,700 away from reaching our goal for Jordyn!!! But time is of the essence so we are putting forth a challenge: Contact 5 friends/family members that would be willing to donate $10 to this cause. All we need is 54 people to accept this challenge!
