This Years Festival runs in conjuction with the traditional "Blessing of the Fleet" on Sunday. This is a dignified event with a Processional and Ecumenical Memorial Service for those who have bravely lost their lives working at sea. After is a Blessing Ceremony via boat for the local fisherman and their vessels

as they head out to sea for a plentiful catch and safe return home. All yachts and owners in attendance are usually blessed by the processional.
