Do you know your evacuation route?

If an emergency hits like wildfire, flooding, or a major storm, officials may order evacuations. Knowing yours before that moment means you move faster and safer.

Here's how to find yours:

🔍 Search "[your county] evacuation route map" or visit your county's Office of Emergency Management website.

📱 Sign up for your region/county's emergency alert system so you get notified directly, for our office in Lee County it is www.warncentraltexas.org but for our Ft Bend County office it is https://www.fortbendcountytx.gov/government/departments/homeland-security-emergency-management/alerts-warnings

Yours may be different, research your own county ahead of time!

If you had to leave home in a hurry, these are the basics you'd need for the first 72 hours:

✔ Water - 1 gallon per person per day
✔ 3-day supply of non-perishable food
✔ Medications + copies of prescriptions
✔ Phone charger + backup battery
✔ Flashlight and extra batteries
✔ Cash in small bills
✔ Copies of important documents
✔ Change of clothes
✔ First aid kit

For summer: add sunscreen, extra water, and a manual fan. Don't forget your pets.
Start with what you have. Build it over time. Just start.

Because of your generosity, the 21st Annual CCA Casino Nite raised more than $8,000 to support programs that strengthen our communities and help neighbors in need.

From our sponsors and donors to our volunteers, silent auction contributors, and every person who purchased a ticket, thank you for making this event such a tremendous success.

But the impact goes far beyond a dollar amount.

At Combined Community Action and Meals on Wheels Rural Capital Area, fundraising helps bridge the gap between program funding and the true cost of serving older adults across our rural communities. At approximately $3 raised per meal, the funds generated from Casino Nite could help provide support for more than 2,600 meals delivered to seniors.

Those meals represent much more than food. They also mean:
❤️ More than 2,600 wellness checks on older adults living independently
❤️ Thousands of moments of connection and reassurance
❤️ Peace of mind for families who know someone is checking in on their loved one
❤️ Continued support for programs that help seniors remain safe, healthy, and independent in their own homes
