4-H SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The Ford-Iroquois 4-H Foundation Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of two types of scholarships this year. One scholarship is designated for students enrolling in a college or junior college, while the second is intended for those pursuing education at a trade school. Eligibility for the Ford-Iroquois 4-H Foundation Inc. scholarship is limited to members of Ford and Iroquois County 4-H clubs who have maintained active membership for the past five years, are current members of a Ford or Iroquois County 4-H Club, participated in the 2025 4-H show, are graduating high school in 2026, and have consistently adhered to the 4-H code of conduct. All applications are due by April 17. They have been sent to all 4-H seniors, high school counselors, and can be accessed via the links below.

The show guide is now available. Happy project picking!

The Ford and Iroquois show guides have been emailed to all 4-H families. Time to get enrolled in 4-H and pick your projects for the 2026 fairs.

Things to note:

4-H Members wishing to participate in the Beef Project MUST enroll before January 15 to participate in the Live Beef Show.

Public Speaking dates will be determined in January.

Livestock Show Guides will be published in February, following the release of the State 4-H rules.


Project Required Manual Orders

The Ford-Iroquois 4-H Foundation is graciously covering the cost of all required manuals this year! An order will be placed on January 15 and March 15. Don't wait to get yours! Families will need to purchase their own required manuals after these deadlines have passed. Google form to order is in your email.

Have a great Winter Break! As a reminder, our office will be closed starting Monday, December 22, and will reopen on Monday, January 5.

Prairie Fire remember that we have the Foundation Auction today at St. Paul’s Lutheran school in Woodworth, IL. We have table clean up duty 3:30 to 4:30. Can’t wait to see you there!

Prairie Fire 4-H is now conducting our fundraiser for the 2025-2026 year. The dates on the form are incorrect. Orders are due by August 30th, with payment to Leanne by the 1st of September. We will finish the totals and get the order placed. We will make an announcement for pick up once we have a solid date and time from them. This is our only fundraiser. Please help the club reach this goal.
There is laundry detergent, fabric softner, dishwasher pods, garbage bags. Something for everyone. Please consider helping the club by ordering something.
Make sure to let everyone know that we are taking orders until August 30th.
