Mark your calendars for the TOTALLY FREE TOY STORE happening next Sunday, December 14th from 1–4 PM at the Gibson Area Hospital Education Center (8th St, across from Dollar General).

This event is open to everyone—no sign-up, no cost, just kindness and joy. Come “shop” for gifts like slime kits, LEGO sets, blankets, art kits, Hot Wheels, and more!

What you might not know about our little family is that SNAP kept my babies fed while I went to nursing school. Ford County Housing kept us sheltered. Community Action kept our lights on. People who I will never be able to identify left anonymous gifts that pushed us through the holidays. FHA allowed me to buy my first home.

In the front yard if that home, we pay it forward, with nothing other than grace, love and the kindness of strangers. Many thanks and humble blessings to everyone who has kept our pantry and her patrons in their hearts. (Extra thanks to my parents and everyone else who has reached out since my brain went all wonky.
