Art Hartman is Gibbon’s July Yard of the Month winner! 👏🏼 His beautiful yard truly shines and makes our community sparkle.

As this month’s winner, Art will be rewarded with:

- A special Yard of the Month sign for his lawn
- Recognition in The Shelton Clipper and here on Facebook
- A $50 gift card to the Kwik Stop, generously provided by the Gibbon Beautification Foundation

Hey there, green thumbs and lawn care enthusiasts! 💚👍🏼 Ready to show off your gardening magic or maybe even your neighbor’s? 🌿✨
We’re still on the hunt for Gibbon’s Yard of the Month for July, and you’ve got just a week left to sprinkle 💦 some nominations our way! Let’s get those nominations rolling!

How to nominate:

• Share the address and what makes it a showstopper (bonus points for a photo!)
• Deadline: July 15th

Winners will receive:
• A fabulous “Yard of the Month” sign to proudly display

🇺🇸 Downtown Gibbon is looking parade-ready 🇺🇸

We love for you to join our little town for our BIG 4th of July parade tomorrow!!
The parade kicks off at 10am so get to town early to find your perfect spot to watch, whether that’s downtown or somewhere else along the parade route. And don’t forget a bucket for all the candy the kiddos will receive! 🍬

After the parade, there’s plenty more to enjoy around town, including a car show, free swimming, food trucks, and so much more at Davis Park.

Don’t forget to snap a photo in front of our amazing downtown mural while you’re here, and please share them with us. 📸 We can’t wait to see you all!!

🌸✨ Just look at these gorgeous hanging flower baskets lighting up our downtown this year! They’re absolutely bursting with color and looking better than ever.

This marks our third year of the project, and we’re so grateful to keep bringing beauty to our community streets each summer. A huge thank you to the wonderful local businesses who have stepped up as sponsors — your support means everything and helps make this possible! 🙏

🎨 The Mural is Complete! 🎨

Hey Gibbon, we’re proud to share that our downtown mural project is officially finished! It turned out even better than we imagined.
Come by downtown anytime to see the finished piece up close. It’s a beautiful tribute honoring our veterans and service members, and we’re so happy with how it looks in the heart of our town.
A huge thank you to Derek Rusher at Impact Art and their entire team for doing such an amazing job and getting the mural done in such a timely manner for us. Also thank you to everyone who has followed along with the process and those that like or follow our page.

🎨 Mural Update - They’re back at it! 🎨

They’re back at it this weekend! Picking up where they left off on the mural project—more paint and more progress. They are working on some of the final details of the servicemen and women as well as the flags. The project’s coming together nicely—stop by and see the progress if you’re around! 🇺🇸

🌾 Welcome to Gibbon just got a fresh new look! 🌿

Our foundation is excited to show off the beautiful landscaping upgrade around our “Welcome to Gibbon” sign on the south side of town. Steinbrink Landscaping & Greenhouses did an outstanding job helping us give it a nice facelift with fresh mulch, new shrubs, and colorful plantings that really make the entrance pop!
A big thank you to the team at Steinbrinks for their great work!
