Mama raccoon was looking for some peace and quiet with a nap in the barn rafters… until the kids showed up. Her expression says it all. 😂🦝

Wyatt was horsin around and broke a fence rail. 🙄Thank goodness our volunteer Joe was there to fix it. Wyatt decided to supervise the repair and only stole Joe’s hammer once. 😂🐴💙

We are sad to share the unexpected passing of our thoroughbred mare Martys Expectation. We rescued her from the k!ll pen and she arrived in terrible condition. We treated her medical issue and got her up to weight. Then one morning we noticed she was having trouble breathing. The vet came and confirmed that her lungs were filling with fluid. Surgery or meds would not help. On the recommendation of our vet, we let her cross the Rainbow Bridge peacefully. She had two happy years at The Lily Pond with her best friend Brahms. Thank you to all who helped us rescue her. Rest in Peace sweet girl. 🐴🌈❤️

Our lucky dogs received a visit from our wonderful friends Louis and Beverly, who brought lots of treats, toys and hugs! Dolly was so excited she insisted on giving them kisses! 🐶❤️
