Thanks to the generosity of our Sponsors, Players, and Volunteers who supported the 20th Annual 1Lt Rob Seidel Memorial Golf Tournament on Friday, September 11, we were able to raise over $54,000 to assist our wounded veterans and their families! Thanks to their support, grants this year have gone to Platoon 22, Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc., Roots for Boots, For the Love of a Veteran Inc., and Operation Second Chance - Hero's Ridge at Raven Rock .

Today is PTS(D)* Awareness Day.

From the VA website, "Even though PTSD treatments work, most people who have PTSD don't get the help they need... Help us spread the word that PTSD treatment works. Everyone with PTSD—whether they are veterans or civilian survivors of sexual assault, serious accidents, natural disasters, or other traumatic events—needs to know that effective treatments can reduce symptoms and lead to a better quality of life."

If you know someone who is struggling, encourage them to get help today.

*PTS, or Post-Traumatic Stress, was formerly known as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. There has been a push to remove "disorder" in an attempt to de-stigmatize and better describe it, but as of the present PTSD is more recognizable.
