Up early both yesterday and today to volunteer at the Jack Russell’s Trail event in Littlestown, PA along with Hanover Area Young Marines. Young Marines are always glad to volunteer with various organizations to help our community!

Come see the Gettysburg Young Marines at Gettysburg Bike Week! We are located behind the Gettysburg Heritage Center today - Sunday at 1200. We have gun raffle tickets, meat sticks and hats for sale — all sales to benefit our unit and the events and programs offered to these young men and women! Gun raffle will be drawn on Sunday at 1200 (do not need to be present).

What an amazing honor! Some of our Young Marines and Adult Volunteers from the Gettysburg Young Marines joined other Young Marines & Adult Volunteers from across the Nation in remembering the events of Pearl Harbor during the week of 1-10 December 2023. They shared some incredible experiences on the island of Oahu to include the Malama Pu'uloa Community Project at Kapapapuhi Point Park, where their collective efforts focused on restoring Pearl Harbor, meeting WWII survivors and learning of their experiences at the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, touring the USS Missouri Memorial, and marching in the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Parade. One of our Young Marines received an awesome surprise of being promoted to Young Marine Staff Sergeant by the National Executive Director, Col. William Davis (USMC Ret) just before the Pearl Harbor Remembrance Parade. What an honor, privilege and awesome experience for all! 🇺🇸
