Anita Oblitas-Lutz, daughter of Rev. Byron Lutz, who started the camp, went to be with her Lord & Savior last week.

Anita grew up here and was both a camper and worker. She did everything from clearing trails and helping to build the lodge, to being a counselor and helping with meals. As a counselor, Anita shared her love of God’s creation by teaching about the plants and wildlife on the property. Anita loved the camp and over the years was always praying, encouraging, and supporting the ministry here.

Love for the Lord and others showed in everything Anita did. She was full of energy & life and always looking for ways to serve others. She made everyone feel like family and made friends with all she met.

Anita was passionate about Jesus and loved to tell others about Him. She did this in a way that was unoffensive and real, and drew people to Him.

Funeral will be held at Lake Shore Chapel, 4552 W. Main Rd., Fredonia, NY, this Thursday, May 21 at Noon.
