WLECHA is dedicated to assisting police canines from all over the State by providing training grants to agencies and hosting an annual working conference.

Reminder that registration for the 2026 conference opens today at 10am for Specialized Trainings and Noon for General Rotation.

Even if you don't make it in under the capacity limit today, be sure to get on the wait list! Every year, we have spots come open and if you're not on the wait list, your odds of getting one of those spots is statistically zero.

If you've attend the WLECHA conference in the past few years, you'll recognize the names of both Dr. Lisa Converse and Dr. Karin Bilyard. They both recently appeared on Working Dog Radio and discussed their expertise on common health and dental concerns in Operational K9's.

While you may have had time to briefly talk to them at the conference, we suggest you take the time and listen to their podcasts for some great information. They cover things such as the need for annual comprehensive dental exams, the benefits of gastropexy and also dispel some common misconceptions in K9 health.
