Teacher Appreciation Week is one way for parents to say thank you to our GHS Staff for all the things you do: the teacher conference days; the sweet notes of encouragement you give kids throughout the year; long days of grading reports and tests; the late night extracurricular meetings you join in to help parent volunteers; every sport outing and stage performance and weekend contest; the help with missed paperwork or a fast approaching deadline that a student needs to complete. We appreciate our GHS staff for all of the things, and for bringing great energy and positivity to our community. Thank you!

On Administrative Professionals Day, the PTA wanted to thank all of the administrative assistants and receptionists who keep our school running so well each and every day. These ladies do it all, and we are so grateful! We treated them to some yummy treats from Amyscandykitchen. It was great to attend Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce WI WIN networking meeting at Matteo's this morning. This was Germantown HS PTA - Warhawks first networking meeting as a Chamber member. Thanks for all the great connections! We just love spoiling our GHS staff, and I hope we made some new connections within the community.

Nice to see everyone from West Bend Area Chamber of Commerce as well.

Parents of the PTA sincerely hope that we contributed to the "feeling of welcome from the school community" for new GHS staff at the beginning of this school year, as shown in this survey. We strive to provide a welcoming atmosphere to all GHS staff, new and continuing, and we thank all of our parent volunteers who contribute their donations of time, money and in kind donations to help our PTA community.

This fall, 38 new employees took part in our 30-Day Check-In Survey, representing teachers, professional technical staff, and support staff across our district. The survey asked staff to reflect on their early onboarding experience using six Likert-scale questions, rated from 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree.

Their feedback is helping guide how we strengthen onboarding, communication, and support for those who have chosen to serve our learning community.

Thank you to our new team members for sharing honest input and for the work already being done for students, families, and colleagues. We are grateful you are here.
