HAPPY 120TH ANNIVERSARY!
SAINT ANTHONY CATHOLIC SCHOOL!

As we conclude Black History Month this February, we proudly celebrate and honor Saints Anthony School on the occasion of its 120th Anniversary.

We are grateful to share a special video message from the Principal, expressing heartfelt appreciation for the support Hope For Lives has provided toward the anniversary celebration. Please take a moment to listen and feel free to share.

Over the past several weeks, Hope For Lives has also been actively painting and refreshing the school as part of our continued commitment and support.

Also we will continue posting pictures of our efforts for the next few days.

Below is the Principal’s speech transcript for anyone who may have had difficulty hearing or understanding parts of her message.

Yes Mr. Bobby, Good Afternoon.
In the first place, we appreciate you and wanted to give you many many thanks.
As you can see the work is going on, the painting is going on.
We really don’t know how to appreciate you. But let God continue to bless you and your family. Let God continue to bless your team and donors.
As you can see work is really going on and we appreciate you.
Because this 120 years Anniversary of our school, you’ve done so much for us all of these years and you’ve been a blessing to our school.
Let God continue to bless you, and right now we are so proud of our school, the compound looks so beautiful with the painting now going on.
No one has anything more negative about our school because of what you’ve done.
Now we can celebrate with joy and pride of our school with no problem.
Once more, Thank you very much and may God bless you and your entire family.

Guys this what is all about, not your fame or image, but to strive by helping the human race.

Remember, it’s not what your country can do for you, but what can you do for your country and your fellow men.

Celebrating Our Painting Efforts!

On the final day of Black History Month, we give God all the praise for His continued blessings upon Hope for Lived in Sierra Leone and for granting us the opportunity to provide ongoing support to one of the oldest primary schools in the country.

As the school celebrates its 120th anniversary, we are truly honored to contribute to this remarkable milestone by repainting the school and helping to refresh its learning environment.

We will be sharing more photos from our efforts, along with a wonderful video capturing the joyful celebration hosted by the staff. The evening bonfire gathering brought together parents, staff, and several children in a heartwarming celebration of this special occasion.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our supporters, generous donors, and faithful prayer partners. Special appreciation goes to our dedicated team on the ground, led by Mr. Tamba Jimmy, whose leadership and hard work made all of this possible.

May God continue to strengthen and guide us as we strive to make the world a better place.

Happy and Blessed New Year from Hope For Lives and the people of Sierra Leone 🇸🇱

Hope For Lives was blessed so that we could be a blessing to others. We would like to sincerely thank everyone for your continued love, support, and commitment to our mission.

During Christmas and Boxing Day, Hope For Lives took to the streets and communities of Freetown, sharing our blessings with underprivileged families. We were honored to spread love, hope, and joy during the holiday season and to connect with so many people.

Many families received food, gifts, and essential support, and their gratitude truly touched our hearts.

Above all, we give thanks and praise to God.

We are also deeply grateful to our donors, supporters, and prayer warriors, your generosity makes this work possible. God’s Willing we will continue to do the best we could.

Special thanks to Mr. Tamba Jimmy and our dedicated team for their tireless efforts in keeping hope alive. Below are a few photos from our mission, capturing our commitment to doing the best we can for those in need.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas and Happy Boxing Day! 🗃️📦
In many parts of the world, particularly across another continent, the day after Christmas is celebrated as Boxing Day. Traditionally, this is a time to share and distribute leftover food and gifts with families who were unable to provide a meal for their Christmas Day celebrations.

We wish a very Happy Boxing Day to all our supporters and donors. Thank you for your continued love and generosity toward Hope For Lives. Because of you, Hope For Lives in Sierra Leone was once again on the streets of Freetown, reaching the underprivileged. Hundreds of lives were touched and blessed yesterday and today through your kindness and support.

Photos will be shared in the coming days.

With gratitude and blessings,
Hope For Lives

To God be all the glory.

Last month marked 14 years since we began Hope for Lives in Sierra Leone. Fourteen years of faith, perseverance, and love. After months of delays from the shipping company, our items finally arrived, and distribution has begun.

As I watched some of the photos and videos, tears filled my eyes with pain. It’s hard to believe, this is home, this is the same place where I grew up. So much pain, but now, so much hope.

We couldn’t have done any of this without you our incredible donors, faithful supporters, and tireless prayer warriors. Through every challenge and hardship you stood with us. You believed in the mission, in the people, and in the power of hope.

From the bottom of our hearts: thank you. Thank you a million times over.

This journey is far from over, but look how far we’ve come, for we believe there’s still HOPE FOR LIVES…❤️❤️❤️❤️💚🤍💙.

It’s JUST NOT FAIR!!!
We’re fighting hunger and poverty in Sierra Leone, but now, a new crisis is stealing the lives of our youth. It’s called Kush, a deadly drug also known as “Zombie” in the U.S., and it’s spreading fast. Every day, more young people fall victim, and sadly, most feel powerless to escape, that leads hundreds to their deaths.

This isn’t just a drug problem, it’s a national emergency.

We’re working on plans to build rehab centers and launch awareness campaigns to help people break free and educate communities about the dangers of Kush.

This fight needs all of us. No pointing of fingers playing the blaming game. Share this message. Talk about it. Support the cause. Let’s stand together and fight to protect the future of our beloved Sierra Leone.

To be frank, May God stretch his hands to the entire world.

A Million Thanks to Our Supporters!

Once again, Hope For Lives in Sierra Leone has been blessed by the incredible kindness of our donors and supporters.

On Monday, Because of YOU, hundreds of students received essential supplies—pens, pencils, exercise books, erasers, and pouches—to take their National Primary School Examination (NPSE).

Each student, along with teachers and staff, was also provided food and drinks —so they could focus, feel supported, and do their best.

A huge shoutout to our amazing team on the ground—your dedication makes all the difference.

Special thanks to Mr. Tamba Jimmy for organizing and leading this effort, and to the local staff who helped make it happen.

Also thanks to their amazing parents for their supports. They were all superb and unbelievable. They waited outside of the examination halls for hours, sat on the floors and some were even lying and sleeping on the floors waiting on their kids. A tremendous amount of support, hope and believed from the parents.

Our children are the future.
Thank you for helping us invest in them.

Hope to build a bigger boat for these kids to attend school. They can only attend school in small canoes. No roads for school buses.

My wife and I get up this morning and we were so grateful, few hours later tears on our eyes.

One of Hope For Lives in Sierra Leone beneficiaries that we sponsor scholarships has passed away. The cause of death is still unknown. But it’s saddening time to the families, friends and HFL.

It’s always so difficult to lose someone, especially someone young, beautiful and talented with so much potential.
Please help us keep her family in your prayers. 😭😢

We have to stop fooling ourselves, black or white, rich or poor, beautiful or ugly, educated or non-educated, Just love one another and do the best you can to help each other out.
Remember, None of us, I mean none of us are leaving this place we called Earth Alive. Think about it!

Just three weeks ago we were bless to sponsored hundreds of kids with food, drinks, and nourishment during their school sporting events, a track and field competition, and today this news. Life, life, life. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
