Our second garden rescue of 2024.

This homeowner is downsizing and moving locally. She has grown these irises for 30+ years. The white ones were growing under a Japanese Maple and both beds had sprinkler heads, yet no signs of rot were observed.

These clumps haven't been divided in a decade, as such, many rhizomes are on the smaller side, yet both clumps bloomed quite well in spring 2024 (see pics).

According to the grower, there were a few yellows on the side with the white ones. We relied on her memory to put those in the correct box. As such there may be a few that got into the wrong box. We do expect that most are the correct color.

We're offering these to you at $1 each (cash, correct change). Pickup in Germantown, TN.

I'm going to send active WTIS members a survey on our current and long-term interest in using this space at Bobby Lanier Farm Park for a NOID iris bed. This photo is for understanding the available plot. Note: there is currently a robust clump of iris pseudacorous growing there.
