My annual post is a little late this year.
Watching the news tonight as they went through the list of celebrities, athletes and public figures who passed away this year, I couldn't help but think the news stations should be reading a list and showing pictures of all the Teal Sisters who passed this year as well.
I started posting the names of all the Teal Sisters who earned their teal wings in 2019 when I realised that there aren't any organizations that post an end of year recap to remember all of the women who have passed.
These women - wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, nieces, granddaughters - were someone. People loved them. Were their friends. They were professionals, had hobbies, traveled, were writers, artists, musicians, politicians, activists. Theses women made an impact on the world and they deserve to be remembered by EVERYONE!! Not just their family & friends.

Please keep these families in your thoughts and prayers as we enter 2024. Learn the symptoms of Ovarian Cancer and educate ALL the females in your life. Remember: If you were born with ovaries, you are at risk for Ovarian Cancer.
