Potomac-Bethesda Rotary Club

Potomac-Bethesda Rotary Club Potomac-Bethesda Rotary Club meets Thursday nights, 6:30 p.m. at Bretton Woods Recreation Center Club House, 15700 River Rd, Germantown, MD.

More information is available at PBRotary.org Like other Rotary clubs, we feel the responsibility to take on projects that range from international to local. We meet in Montgomery County, Maryland, which despite its reputation for relative wealth, has needs. Among our local community activities are giving out dictionaries to all the third graders in several local elementary schools, providing loca

l scholarships, helping fix up local homes, packing food boxes for families, and helping provide activities for residents of local group homes. We are proud of our area's quality of life, natural beauty, history, sense of community, quality of schools and public services. There is so much to see and do!

🀝 Making a Real Impact in Our Community 🀝

The Potomac-Bethesda Rotary Club is proud to support organizations that are making a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors.

During our recent meeting, Club President Stuart Silverman presented a $1,700 donation to Grace Rivera-Oven, CEO of The Upcounty Hub β€” an organization doing truly remarkable work in Montgomery County.

Every week, The Upcounty Hub:

Distributes over 30,000 pounds of food and essential supplies
Serves more than 1,300 households
Partners with Care4YourHealth to connect families to primary healthcare services, including vaccinations and preventive care

This is what Service Above Self looks like in action β€” addressing both immediate needs and long-term wellbeing in our community.

We are honored to partner with organizations like The Upcounty Hub that are on the front lines, ensuring families have access to food, healthcare, and hope.

πŸ‘ Please join us in celebrating their incredible work!
