Germantown Youth Futures Germantown Youth Futures fosters positive youth development
through education and activities.

Germantown Youth Futures exists to promote positive youth development. At the heart of the program is the desire to ensure that our community's youth have the best possible activities available, day in and day out, year in and year out. Growth through service in the community is equally as important as the growth students achieve in the classroom.

Germantown Youth Futures is a vibrant community partner that engages youth in positive activities and education that promote lifelong wellbeing. We teamed up with a group of Leadership Germantown participants to help secure sponsorships and donations to help with transportation costs for teen trips (Adventure Kids Klub, annual Kalahari trip, etc.). Funds raised help keep these safe, heathy and fun events in the community.

Thank you to the generous sponsors:
Bus Sponsor: Connected Technology Solutions (CTS)
Activity Sponsors: Dielectric Manufacturing, Adam Chamorro - State Farm Insurance Agent, J.W. Speaker Corporation, Illing Packaging, Inc.
Other Donors: Bank Five Nine, Wisconsin State Senator Dan Knodl, Leadership Germantown team donation

Thank you to community members that participated in the dining fundraisers organized by the group at Robert's Frozen Custard, Chick-fil-A Menomonee Falls & Cafe Zupas in Menomonee Falls.

Together, the team's project helped raise $4,200 in support of this initiative. Thank you again to the sponsors, donors, supporters and the team for their hard work!

This Saturday, April 27, is Drug Take Back Day, and more than 120 collection sites around the state are accepting unwanted e-cigarettes.

E-cigarettes and va**ng devices pose a health and safety risk for workers handling our recycling and trash. Ni****ne is toxic to humans, and the lithium-ion batteries used to power the devices can easily get crushed or spark and quickly start a fire.

Drug Take Back Day offers a safe disposal option for devices with the batteries removed.

A list of accepted/not accepted items and a map of participating location sites are available on the Dose of Reality: Drug Take Back Day webpage:

Too often, unused and expired medications find their way into the wrong hands. That's dangerous and often tragic. Bringing unused and expired medications to a Drug Take Back Day collection site protects you, your family, and your community. The next Drug Take Back Day is scheduled for April 27, 2024.
