Our thoughts have a powerful impact on how we feel. Simple practices like this can help us notice God's blessings, hold on to hope for tomorrow, and recognize the gifts He has placed within us.

Small, intentional habits can make a meaningful difference over time. Gratitude isn't about ignoring difficulties or pretending everything is okay. It's about intentionally noticing what's good alongside what's hard.

One of my all-time favorite therapeutic exercises to improve mood is called the Daily 3-2-1.

(Shout out to Dr. Caroline Danda who taught me this years ago. This little gem has had a tremendous impact on more people than you know!)

It's gratitude meets anti-depressive thinking, so to speak. It's designed to help you notice the bright spots and to directly challenge classic depressive thought patterns.

To do it, write down:

-> 3 good things that happened today

-> 2 things you're looking forward to in the next 24 hours

-> 1 good thing about yourself ( a victory or a compliment)

Do this daily for about 3 weeks, and you'll start to notice a positive shift in your thinking and your mood.

Save this so you can come back to it often!

Caring for mental health doesn’t require big gestures. It often starts small.

As we come to the close of , consider one intentional step:
• Check in with someone and really listen
• Make space for an honest conversation
• Pray with or for someone who’s struggling
• Take a step to care for your own well-being

These moments matter more than we think. Through everyday acts of care, we reflect Christ’s love in real and meaningful ways.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are grateful for their sacrifice and for the families who carry both pride and loss. As we reflect today, we also pray for comfort, peace, and God’s presence for veterans, active military members, and loved ones remembering those they have lost.
