Sis, listen to me for a moment—woman to woman.
You are beautiful. You are valuable. You are worthy of genuine love.
So worthy that Jesus Christ went to the cross for you. God knows every detail about you, even the number of hairs on your head, and He calls you the apple of His eye.
Because of that, please do not waste your precious time, energy, and heart on someone who is unsure about you or treats you like an option.
As women of God, we don’t always have these conversations openly, but Scripture calls older women to encourage and teach younger women. So let this be your reminder: trust God with your heart and allow Him to send the right man into your life.
The same God who wakes you up each morning, heals your body, provides for your needs, and keeps you in perfect peace absolutely cares about your desire to be a wife.
Do you really think sending you the right man is too difficult for Him?
The challenge is that many of us spend so much time searching for a man that we forget to position ourselves to be found.
God is a God of order. When we step outside of His design, we often find ourselves frustrated, heartbroken, and wondering why relationships continue to fail.
If you want to be in position to be found by your Boaz:
• Stop playing wife to a man who is not your husband.
• Stop giving your body to someone who has not committed to you in covenant.
• Stop being loyal to a man who refuses to define the relationship.
I know this may be difficult to hear because society tells women that they must “prove” their loyalty and “prove” they are wife material by going above and beyond for someone who has given little in return.
But that is not what God’s Word teaches.
And while you may not find that truth in culture, you will certainly find yourself hurt when you settle for less than what God intended.
Instead, seek God daily. Sit at His feet. Allow Him to love, heal, and restore you.
And while you wait, use this season wisely:
• Serve God faithfully.
• Learn to love yourself.
• Heal from past wounds.
• Grow into the woman and wife God is preparing you to be.
Every one of us has experienced heartbreak. Every one of us has made mistakes.
But it is not too late, Woman of God.
You are deeply loved by God. You are worthy. You are deserving of a healthy, God-ordained love.
Take back your power. Reclaim your dignity. Protect your heart.
And position yourself so that God can write the beautiful love story He has always intended for you.
