Photo dump from the Charcoal Fire. Compilation from stuff found on the internet and a few from the guys and gals working. Great work from the crew holding this 87 acre fire in one ops period! Thanks to some precision air support and some hard work on the ground. A few short videos to come. Lots of air ops, back firing and line construction jammed into a 13 hour shift.

If you fly, we can’t. Unauthorized drones force all firefighting aircraft to land to avoid midair collisions, delaying critical work and putting lives and property at greater risk.

It is a federal crime to interfere with firefighting efforts on public lands. Follow all Federal Aviation Administration regulations and DCNR guidelines for drones and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).

No photo or video of a wildfire is worth the danger it creates for firefighters and the communities they protect. These incidents are increasing, so please help us spread the word.

Yesterday was a great day on the line for our S-130 Field Day 🔥

53 New Wildland Firefighters are hitting the ground running.

The Flame Tamers Wildland Fire Crew would like to thank everyone who came out and put in the work. Your commitment to training, safety, and sharpening your skills is what makes our wildland fire community stronger and more prepared for the season ahead.

Thank you to the DCNR district 17 staff for putting on this great training. Your commitment to the students was top notch and very effective.

We also want to extend a sincere thank you to St. Luke’s University Health Network for providing a physician for medical standby during the training. Having that level of support on scene helps ensure we can train hard while keeping everyone safe.

We appreciate the continued partnership and dedication from everyone involved. Stay safe, stay ready — we’ll see you on the next one.
