Our Story

Summit to Summit Run/Walk Event is taking place on May 9, 2020 in Gering, Nebraska! Our website is www.summittosummit.org. Next year’s event will be part of the commemorative Centennial Celebration of Scotts Bluff National Monument. Summit to Summit Run/Walk is a professionally timed 7.2-mile run/walk from the campus of Summit Christian College in Gering, Nebraska to the top of Scotts Bluff National Monument and back. A scenic and healthy challenge for both runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels!

Medallions are awarded to the top three runners in each age/gender division and to the overall top male and female runners of the day. Divisions include Runners (all ages), Walkers-adult (16 and up, Walkers-youth (10 to 15), and Walkers-child (9 and under). All registered participants received a T-shirt and swag bag.
