Western Nebraska Scout Troop #16G of the Greater Wyoming Council

Western Nebraska Scout Troop #16G of the Greater Wyoming Council Boy Scouts of America made it possible for girls to form their own troop and progress through the ranks and earn merit badges. at the Gering Methodist Church.

This provides many opportunities for developing leadership skills. Meetings are held on Sundays at 4 p.m. The scout door is in the back.

The girls participated in the Oregon Trail Days parade. Our next meeting is tomorrow at 4 p.m. at the Gering Methodist church. If you are between 11 - 18, come check us out! Come to the back door.

We would like to encourage all girls, ages 11 - 18, to join the first girls troop in Western Nebraska. We just got back from a week at Camp Laramie Peak. It was a blast! The girls participated in CPR and basic first aid, knife safety, pottery, wilderness survival, knot tying, archery, hiking, orienteering, and zip lining.
