Congratulations to the GHS FFA Livestock Judging Team for placing 1st in the DeKalb County FFA competitions! Ella Barkley had the highest overall score, Jett Barkley 2nd place overall, Gavin Eakins 4th overall, and Olivia Maddox placed 7th overall with the highest overall reasoning score! Thank you to Mr. Jay Gibson for the time he spends working with these students!

In this time of Covid and social distancing, there has been some discussion on how the Alumni Association can become more involved. Revitalized might be the better word for it. This organization has done some great things for the Geraldine Chapter in the past. It is time to re-energize, and reach not only those who were active in the past, but anyone who believes in FFA and the principals taught in Ag. Geraldine has a rich history and foundation in the FFA. Those who are no longer living in the Geraldine area need a path to become involved and participate as well. More will be said soon. If you have benefitted from this part of your education at Geraldine, or you just want to support the chapter, I hope we will establish a convenient and meaningful way to do so. Stay tuned!
