Today was a great day at district eliminations. Several students got to experience the competitions for the first time with over 1,400 other FFA members from North Alabama.
We competed in Small Engines, Horse Evaluation, Meat Evaluation, and Poultry Evaluation. We also picked up our third place banner in Livestock.

We had a fantastic Ag Safety Day!

Our elementary students had the opportunity to learn about a wide range of important safety topics, including tractor and ATV safety, hand tool safety, first aid, firearm and knife safety, and livestock safety. One of the highlights of the day was getting up close and personal with livestock—many students experienced this for the very first time!

To top it all off, students also enjoyed some fun activities like face painting.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible and invested in educating our students about life skills and staying safe in agriculture. It was a great day of learning, hands-on experiences, and fun!

🌱 We’re Open! Geraldine FFA Greenhouse Plant Sale Starts Tomorrow! 🌱

Join us as we kick off our greenhouse sales beginning tomorrow from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM!

We’ll have a great selection available, including:
🌿 Ferns
🌸 Hanging baskets
🌼 Bedding plants
🥬 Vegetables

🗓️ Hours: We will be open Monday–Friday from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM, with select advertised Saturdays throughout the season!

Whether you’re getting your garden started or adding some color to your porch, we’ve got something for you!

🌷 More flowers are on the way! Be on the lookout for even more beautiful blooms just in time for our Mother’s Day sale at the end of April.
