Happy Independence Day from The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation Family
Today, as our nation celebrates the freedoms we hold so dear, we pause to remember that freedom has never come without sacrifice.

Across America, families are gathering for backyard barbecues, parades, and fireworks. Yet thousands of first responders, veterans, active-duty military members, dispatchers, EMS professionals, firefighters, law enforcement officers, road workers, utility crews, and emergency personnel are spending this holiday doing what they always do—standing watch over their communities instead of sitting around the dinner table with their loved ones.

To every firefighter answering a call...
To every law enforcement officer patrolling our streets...
To every paramedic and EMT responding to emergencies...
To every dispatcher who is the calm voice in someone's darkest moment...
To every veteran and active-duty service member who has defended our nation's freedoms...
To every road worker keeping our highways safe while others travel to celebrate...

Thank you.

Your sacrifice allows the rest of us to enjoy this day in peace.

Today we also bow our heads in remembrance of those who never made it home. The fallen heroes whose courage, selflessness, and unwavering commitment continue to inspire us every day. Their names, their service, and their legacies will never be forgotten. They remain forever in our hearts and forever woven into the fabric of this great nation.

As we celebrate our independence, let us also celebrate the men and women who continue to protect it—not only on distant battlefields, but on our streets, in our communities, along our highways, and wherever help is needed.

From all of us at The Chief Mason Griffith Foundation, including Station 53 Outfitters, Firefighter Chevy Gall Foundation, Warped Athletics, Dry Creek Bloodhounds Search & Rescue, Sassafras – The Alane Antoine Foundation, and Between the White Lines, we wish you and your family a safe, blessed, and meaningful Fourth of July.

May we never take our freedom for granted.
May we never forget those who paid the ultimate price.
And may we continue to stand Stronger Together as we honor the Past, support the Present, and inspire the Future.

God Bless our First Responders.
God Bless our Veterans and Military.
God Bless our Road Workers and Public Safety Professionals.
God Bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸

Oh my sweet brave boy.... How do I begin to wish you a Happy 18th Birthday.... We have stumble through our first year of first without you. This is your second heavenly birthday and I still struggle to understand why this life was given to us. You are so very much loved and missed. In your lifetime you lived a life you can be proud of, we are all so very proud of you. We still hear stories of how you were either ornery, helpful, funny, inspiring or just a loving person. All these stories give us the strength to make it another day.

The man you had become has proven to me and dad that we did a wonderful job pouring all our love into you, but giving you the room to become everything you were. Chevy you were amazing in everyway and I'm devastated you don't get to show the world more of who you were. I hope your day in heaven is beautiful and you are spending it with family and friends. I had no Idea that 18 years ago when I looked into those big beautiful brown eyes for the first time I would not get to hold you on your 18th birthday. Happy Heavenly 18th birthday my handsome brave son.

-Love momma.

ONE OF OUR OWN NEEDS US ❤️

Sarah Gall, Director of the Firefighter Chevy Gall Foundation, now needs the same community support she and her family have so selflessly given to others.

After the heartbreaking loss of their son, Chevy Gall, Sarah and Rocky chose to turn their pain into purpose — giving back, supporting others, and working tirelessly to keep Chevy’s legacy alive through acts of kindness, outreach, and service to the community.

Now, the Gall family is facing another difficult chapter.

On May 15, Sarah severely fractured her ankle and will undergo surgery on May 26. Following surgery, she will be completely non-weight bearing for at least 6 weeks, with recovery expected to take 6 months or more.

During this time, Rocky will continue working while Sarah recovers at home caring for their son during summer break. Sarah will be unable to stand or cook while recovering.

We are asking our community to rally around one of our own.

Our immediate goal is:
🍲 To fill the first 3 weeks with hot dinners
🥘 And provide 3 weeks of frozen crockpot or oven-ready meals that Sarah can simply pull out and cook during recovery

Additional ways to help:
🍕 Restaurant or grocery gift cards
🙏 Sharing this post to help us reach others

Sarah and Rocky have spent the last year helping others in Chevy’s memory. Let’s now help carry them through this difficult time and remind them they are not alone.

Thank you for supporting the Gall family and continuing Chevy’s legacy of community, compassion, and service. ❤️

☀️ As the weather gets warmer, and you start heading to the river, don’t forget the basics that keep a good day from turning into a bad one.

Spending time on the water is fun, but conditions can change quickly, so a little awareness goes a long way.

🚤 Wear a life jacket: currents and obstacles can catch anyone off guard
🚤 Stay aware: watch for debris, changing water levels, and others nearby
🚤 Don’t go alone: having someone with you adds an extra layer of safety
🚤 Keep constant watch over kids: no distractions around moving water
🚤 Be mindful with alcohol: judgment and reaction time matter on the river

Enjoy the day, look out for each other, and make it a safe one for everyone.
