Saturday we had a tour of the Radio Station. We learned how the different stations work, what the DJs do, and what other careers are available at the station! Thank you!!!

Troop 42 Scouts had a great day of learning about civic duty. They presented the flags at the beginning of the meeting along with leading the Pledge. Our scouts helped manage the mic system and sold food to help with fundraising for their scout trailer. They also worked on their communications merit badge: 5)attend a public meeting (city council, school board, debate) approved by your counselor where several points of view are given on a single issue. Practice active listening skills and take careful notes of each point of view. Prepare an objective report that includes all points of view that were expressed, and share this with your counselor.
