Georgetown Texas Field of Honor Visit our website to purchase and dedicate your flags. www.GeorgetownTxFieldofHonor.org flag symbolizes the countless acts of service offered by those honored.

Imagine up to 2,000 United States flags, each measuring 3 by 5 feet atop 7½ foot tall white flagstaffs. This stunning vista becomes reality during the week of Veterans Day in November as the Rotary Club of Georgetown, TX brings its annual Field of Honor® event to San Gabriel Park. This display of the Stars & Stripes illustrates the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self” as the U.S. A full week of dr

amatic ceremonies, inspiring displays, exciting activities, and wonderful celebrations honor our past and present military and first responders and celebrate our flag and our country. Each flag can be purchased and dedicated to honor a past or present veteran or first responder. Additional options to dedicate a flag are for POW/MIA, a K9 unit or individual dog, or an equestrian hero. If you have already dedicated a flag for your hero or don’t have a name in mind of a person to honor, the ADOPT-A-HERO option gives you the opportunity to honor someone with a flag who may otherwise be overlooked. You can honor a person serving in one of the military branches or a first responder, and the flag and dedication tag will be forwarded to leaders of the selected branches at the conclusion of the Field of Honor® to award to service members. Each year, funds from flag sales are awarded to selected beneficiaries that serve veterans and first responders with programs to help with PTSD, su***de prevention, family support, and other critical needs. A portion of the funds are retained by the Rotary Club for selected service projects or needs in the military and first responder community. The Georgetown TX Field of Honor® is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation. All are invited to visit the Field of Honor® flag display and support the Rotary Club of Georgetown TX in presenting an inspiring and memorable event that will draw Central Texas residents together to honor those who serve to protect our lives and freedom. This year's Field of Honor® was a great success as we held a spectacular Opening Ceremony, a Marine Corps Birthday Cake Cutting Ceremony, the debut of the R.O.C.K. documentary, "Where Horses Heal the Soul," a moving Veterans Day Ceremony, Quilt of Valor ceremonies, Village Elementary School Children's Patriotic Concert, A Chamber of Commerce "Business After Hours" gathering, our Rotary meeting celebrating all veterans and first responders present, a presentation of a motorized wheelchair to a disabled Veteran thanks to Share the Will, another Quilt of Valor Ceremony, Patriotic Santa and his sleigh and reindeer, "Olive" collecting toys for Brown Santa, a wonderful flag retirement ceremony, over 1200 GISD 8th graders and homeschoolers on field trips, and tons of visitors visiting the field, taking their heroes and families to the flags they dedicated, and enjoying the Rotary Club's displays! Lots of visitors purchased awesome SWAG this year and made generous donations.

Our sincere thanks to the many volunteers that served tirelessly all week, starting with the field set-up day through field take down day.

Of course, we could not provide this amazing event without our valued Sponsors and Affiliates! Huge thanks for their support!

2025 FIELD OF HONOR® BENEFICIARY APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!
APPLY NOW THROUGH AUGUST 22!

Non-profit organizations that serve active and reserve duty military, veterans, first responders, law enforcement members and their families are invited to submit a request for consideration to be considered to be a beneficiary of the 2025 Field of Honor® flag sales revenues.

Since the inception of the annual event in 2017, the Rotary Club of Georgetown, TX Foundation has awarded over $250,000 to non-profit organizations to support specific programs that benefit veterans and first responders and their families. Awards have ranged from $1,000 to $14,000 per selected organization depending on the net amount raised from flag sales and the number of board approved beneficiaries.

Organizations that were selected as beneficiaries in the immediate past year (2024) must skip one year before they are eligible to apply again.

The Rotary Club of Georgetown Foundation also retains a portion of the net flag sales to have on hand to support ongoing requests from veteran and non-profit organizations needed to assist with special programs or service projects.

Organizations must be a 501(c)3, 501(c)19, or 501(c)23 in good standing and must upload a current 990 and the organization’s nonprofit verification letter with the online application.

Applications will be accepted through midnight, CDT, August 22, 2025.

Selected beneficiaries will be notified by late September 2025. The selected organization's names and logos will appear on banners at the Field of Honor®, in the 48 page color event program, on the event website, and on the event’s social media.
