Georgetown Texas Field of Honor Visit our website to purchase and dedicate your flags. www.GeorgetownTxFieldofHonor.org flag symbolizes the countless acts of service offered by those honored.

Imagine up to 2,000 United States flags, each measuring 3 by 5 feet atop 7½ foot tall white flagstaffs. This stunning vista becomes reality during the week of Veterans Day in November as the Rotary Club of Georgetown, TX brings its annual Field of Honor® event to San Gabriel Park. This display of the Stars & Stripes illustrates the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self” as the U.S. A full week of dramatic ceremonies, inspiring displays, exciting activities, and wonderful celebrations honor our past and present military and first responders and celebrate our flag and our country. Each flag can be purchased and dedicated to honor a past or present veteran or first responder. Additional options to dedicate a flag are for POW/MIA, a K9 unit or individual dog, or an equestrian hero. If you have already dedicated a flag for your hero or don’t have a name in mind of a person to honor, the ADOPT-A-HERO option gives you the opportunity to honor someone with a flag who may otherwise be overlooked. You can honor a person serving in one of the military branches or a first responder, and the flag and dedication tag will be forwarded to leaders of the selected branches at the conclusion of the Field of Honor® to award to service members. Each year, funds from flag sales are awarded to selected beneficiaries that serve veterans and first responders with programs to help with PTSD, su***de prevention, family support, and other critical needs. A portion of the funds are retained by the Rotary Club for selected service projects or needs in the military and first responder community. The Georgetown TX Field of Honor® is a gift to the community made possible through donations, sponsorships and the efforts of many dedicated volunteers. You can show your support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag or making a donation. All are invited to visit the Field of Honor® flag display and support the Rotary Club of Georgetown TX in presenting an inspiring and memorable event that will draw Central Texas residents together to honor those who serve to protect our lives and freedom. THE CENTRAL TEXAS HEROES CHILI COOK-OFF DATE CHANGE!

NEW EVENT DATE
The Cook-Off has moved from Saturday, November 7, 2026 to Sunday, March 14, 2027.
Location: Community Center, San Gabriel Park, Georgetown, Texas

WHY THE CHANGE?
Moving to March 14 gives more organizations across Central Texas and the surrounding areas the chance to register and compete. That means a bigger field, a bigger crowd and even more support for the foster youth served by the Stephen Braggs Youth Foundation and those who benefit from the Rotary Club of Georgetown's charitable and humanitarian services.

CURRENT TEAM REGISTRATIONS
If you already signed up, your team's registration carries over to the new date, and there's nothing you need to do.

GOOD NEWS!
Since the Chili Cook-off will be indoors, registrants do not need a pop-up tent! Also, electrical power is available to keep your delicious chili warm, and no concerns about weather!
