As the year comes to a close, we would like to recognize several incredible PTA volunteers from across Georgetown ISD for their outstanding service during the 2025–2026 school year. Campus PTAs were invited to nominate parent, staff, and community volunteers who went above and beyond in service to their schools and our district.

These are the people working behind the scenes to make events happen, support students and staff, strengthen school communities, and help our campuses thrive. From organizing events and student activities to supporting communications, logistics, memberships, and day-to-day campus needs, their impact reaches far beyond what most people ever see.

Their hard work, leadership, generosity, and dedication have not gone unnoticed. PTAs simply could not exist without volunteers willing to give their time, talents, and energy to support students and schools.

To all of this year’s honorees: thank you for the countless hours you poured into our campuses and district. Georgetown ISD is stronger because of you, and we are endlessly grateful for your service and heart.

Give them some shout-outs and love in the comments! 🫶

The National PTA recently recognized more than 200 students nationwide with national-level awards in the 2025–2026 Reflections Program, inspired by this year’s theme, “I Belong!”

Sadie Rystad from Georgetown High School earned the prestigious National Award of Excellence! It is one of only 20 NATIONAL awards awarded to students from Texas out of approximately 870 entries submitted nationwide.

We are so grateful to Dr. Padavil for taking the time to join our GISD PTA Council meeting. His willingness to connect, listen, and share district updates means so much to our PTA leaders and the families we serve. Strong schools are built on communication and collaboration, and we truly appreciate his partnership.

Thank you as well to everyone who attended and continues to show up for our students. Your time, ideas, and commitment make a difference across GISD.

When parents, educators, and district leadership sit at the same table, good things happen.

We are proud to be part of a community that works together for all kids. 💙
