Milestones all around in Williamson County! 📰 We are incredibly honored to see featured on the front page of the !

At our spring meeting, our members celebrated a massive milestone: officially crossing $2.5 million in lifetime giving to our local community since 2010! To date, we've been able to touch 47 unique agencies through 156 impactful grants.

This year alone, we awarded $180,000 to eight intentional, hardworking non-profits making a true difference right where we live. Huge congratulations to our 2026 grant recipients! Be sure to give them a follow and support their missions:

Over 100 people, countless smiles, a few happy tears,...and one historic milestone.

We are still floating on air after our Annual Awards and Meeting at Grace Bible Church! This album is just a glimpse into the incredible joy of the afternoon, celebrating our 185 amazing members, our dedicated community partners and the profound impact of collective giving in Georgetown, Texas!

This year's meeting was especially historic as Seeds of Strength officially crossed the $2.5 MILLION mark in lifetime community giving. Since 2010, this organization has been blessed to touch 47 unique non-profit agencies through 156 total grants - pouring a cumulative $2,547,488 directly back into the place we call home.

The highlight of the day was awarding a collective $180,000 in new grants to eight phenomenal local non-profits, alongside celebrating our leadership transition for the upcoming 2026–27 term.

To our members, grant recipients, and community supporters: thank you for watering these seeds for the last 16 years. When women unite with a shared heart for their community, remarkable things bloom. 🌸🌿

We’re still buzzing! Thanks to the incredible dedication of our 185 members and community supporters, we didn’t just gather - we made history together.

Seeds of Strength has officially crossed the $2.5 million threshold in lifetime community giving! Since 2010, our collective giving circle has been blessed to touch 47 local non-profit agencies through 156 total grants, pouring a cumulative $2,547,488 directly back into Georgetown!!!.

As our President, Pam Carlson, so beautifully shared:

“Touching 47 unique agencies through 156 grants shows the deep, lasting roots we’ve planted in this community, and we are thrilled to expand that reach even further this year.”

The absolute highlight of the afternoon was presenting $180,000 in funding to our incoming 2026 Grantees, who are doing vital work on the ground every single day.

We also turned the page to an exciting new chapter as we passed the torch, honoring our phenomenal outgoing leaders our founders - including beloved Barbara Hallmark - and officially inducting our spectacular incoming leadership team for the 2026–27 term.

We are so expectant for where their vision will take us next!

🌱 Seeds members filled the clubhouse to watch grant finalists videos! Always so emotional to hear from all of the deserving nonprofits. And it’s almost impossible to choose!!! Voting ends at midnight on May 4! We’d like to see 100% of our members get their votes submitted. Thank you again to all of our members - this year’s donations put us over the $2.5M mark!!! 🙌

Thank you to these wonderful Seeds Of Strength members who volunteered at Any Baby Can, one of our grantees serving Georgetown/Williamson County. They primarily serve:
• Families with children who have special health care needs or developmental delays (0–20 years old).
• First-time pregnant women and parents of very young children, including those needing parenting education or mental health support.
• Caregivers needing help navigating healthcare, school services, and community resources, often under financial or emotional stress.

They emphasize that services are free or very affordable, including essentials like diapers, clothes and formula for no cost, which signals a strong focus on families of modest means or in challenging circumstances.
