Evolution of a Donkey Selfie, ft. Diamond 💎🫏 Hi, friends! Now that we have awesome volunteers posting fab content on the socialz, I don’t talk to y’all as much. Just wanted to pop in and let you know that we are up to our usual shenanigans, loving and caring for ornery donkeys, crusty old pups, squeaky pigs, and a few others besides. 🩵 In these crazy times, focusing as much energy as we possibly can on our values of empathy and compassion seems like the most radical and helpful thing we can do. Luckily, these critters make it easy! Another of our priorities is building community, and it’s going to be exciting seeing that take shape in new ways over the coming months - look for a reboot of our book club, as well as more regular opportunities to volunteer, including by helping us build a community garden! As always, donations keep us running, so anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated right now! We are a bit behind on our bills and want to make sure we get everyone - especially our ever-patient hay suppliers - taken care of. Volunteer Day! 🤝🪏🪮

We had folks from Denver visiting, a family whose kiddo fell in love with the horses, a newcomer to Georgetown, a couple from Arizona and a ranch lover all join us. And boy did we get a lot done together!!!! ☑️ 💪

I think ending the day with carrots 🥕 is a going to be a mainstay 😂
