There’s something extra special about a cold treat on a hot Texas day, and thanks to the generosity of Scoops Ice Cream, the neighbors we serve get to enjoy a little extra sweetness each week. ❤️

Scoops regularly donates ice cream for us to share with the folks we serve, and in the middle of a Texas summer, that’s more than dessert. It’s a cool treat, a moment of joy, and another reminder that our community cares.

We’re so grateful for local businesses like Scoops that find their own special ways to help us hand out hope in Georgetown.

Today’s amazing sandwich crew was hard at work making 200 sandwiches for our daily sack meal program, while our friends from Next Steps, a program for adults with special needs, jumped in to help pack today’s lunches.

There’s something pretty special about people coming together to serve their neighbors, each person bringing what they can and lending a hand where it’s needed.

200 lunches. A whole lot of helping hands. And one community taking care of each other. ❤️
