Jasmine

At just 1 year old, Jasmine has officially retired from motherhood. Her babies are raised, her mom duties are complete and there will be no babies in the future for this sweet cat.

Her foster mom reports this beautiful calico girl is sweet, loving, and enjoys affection and attention. Jasmine wasn't fond of the resident cat at her foster home.

Jasmine came to us with her brothers, Aladdin and Genie, who are also still looking for homes. Apparently, this whole family is having trouble finding their happily-ever-after.

Jasmine has a spay appointment on Wed October 21st and can go home Friday October 23rd.

All BCHS Cats and Kittens are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and flea preventative, and are tested for Felv/Fiv.

Adopted: Pattie

Our little drive-thru bandit with the uniquely designed paws who used to rob cars of their fries and hamburgers has been adopted!

Pattie has never let her different paws slow her down, and apparently, they didn’t slow down her plans to steal someone’s heart, either! Her adopter’s response? “I have a tripod. Strange or no paws do not worry me!"

And just like that, Pattie found her person! Off they went together to start their new life, where we can only assume there will be shenanigans, and possibly a suspicious number of missing french fries.

Happy Adoption Day!

Tucked away in a little Georgetown neighborhood is a spooky cat house full of tiny monsters with whiskers.

Come visit the BCHS Cat Shelter on Saturday, October 24, from 11 to 4! Our cat house will be decked out in spooky decorations, and the kids can trick or treat in the kitten room while visiting with the kitties.

We’ll have candy, snacks and refreshments, plus the Rusty Lens photo booth for Halloween pictures!

Costumes welcome, but not required. Come join the fun either way!

And if a kitty puts you under their spell, adoption fees for all cats and kittens 5 months or older are just $25 Friday through Sunday, October 23–25.
