IENG is a local faith-based organization committed to the stewardship of creation as a spiritual and ethical responsibility and working to inspire, inform, and empower faith communities to protect the health of our planet. We are a faith-based organization that embraces the following MISSION STATEMENT:
Believing that the stewardship of creation is
a spiritual and ethical responsibility, our miss

ion is to inspire, inform, and
empower Georgetown faith communities, and our surrounding community,
to live in harmony with our natural environment and to protect and restore
the health of our planet for future generations. We invite you to keep informed about our IENG initiatives and efforts to promote this mission within our community and to communicate with us. You will find here notices about programs, discussions, and activities that IENG volunteers are engaged in locally. To address our environmental interests and concerns we are structured into three areas of involvement: environmental education, service projects, and public policy advocacy.
